Investigators from the Ulster County Family and Child Advocacy Center report the arrest of Ulrich Arlt, 36, of 2703 Route 208 Walden, NY.
On May 16, 2018, the Ulster County Family and Child Advocacy Center began investigating a Sexual Abuse of a 13 years old child in the Town of New Paltz. The investigation revealed that Ulrich Arlt sexually abused the child repeatedly over the course of approximately three years.
On May 17, 2018, Ulrich Arlt was charged with Course of Sexual Conduct Against a Child in the 1st Degree, a class B Felony. He was arraigned in the Town of New Paltz Court before Honorable Bacon and remanded to Ulster County Jail in lieu of $60,000 cash bail/$120,000.00 property bond. An Order of Protection was issued on behalf of the victim. Ulrich Arlt was ordered to reappear in the Town of New Paltz Criminal Court on 05/22/2018 at 5:30pm.
The Ulster County Family and Child Advocacy Center was assisted by members of the Town of New Paltz Police Department and the New York State Police.
